Vaal arc + Arc + Orb of fusing
Vaal Arc + Arc + Orb of Fusing = Same level Vaal Arc as Arc (can get you level 21 gem)
Vaal Arc + Arc + GCP = Same quality Vaal Arc as Arc (can get you quality 23 gem) Or some vendor recipe like this for vaal skills. What you guys think? Last edited by Powerhunger#4389 on May 19, 2018, 11:18:28 AM Last bumped on May 19, 2018, 1:39:19 PM

ADD THIS PLEASE | |
could this be used to get 21/20 vaal gem?
Because as it is the vaal gems will very rarely be high quality and never 21/20. Some gems will definitely be preferable as normal version if there's no new way to get something like a 21/20 vaal gem. I'm a bit worried that quality vaal gems will be so rare that the whole vaal gems change would end up being ignored. Last edited by teksuoPOE#2987 on May 19, 2018, 7:21:01 AM

" Pro tip: Get 5-10 times the skill you want. Lvl them to 20. Use the GCP recipe so you have some 1/20 gems. Vaal them. Congratulation, you have a 1/20 vaal gem. You can now level it lvl 20. It's not like it's even remotely hard. Last edited by Keyen#4575 on May 19, 2018, 7:23:44 AM

" that'll give you a 20/20 for twice the effort, not bad i guess, but what about the 21/20 or 20/23? Last edited by teksuoPOE#2987 on May 19, 2018, 7:33:04 AM

" So maybe 2 recipies: Vaal Arc + Arc + Orb of Fusing = Same level Vaal Arc as Arc Vaal Arc + Arc + GCP = Same quality Vaal Arc as Arc Now you would be able to get a 21/23 Vaal skill though, unless the last one gives you a lvl 1 gem. Last edited by Powerhunger#4389 on May 19, 2018, 11:25:59 AM

" No. You will get Vaal 1/20 for HALF (and not twice) the effort of a regular 21/20. So the 20/20 vaal will require the same amount of effort, but the RNG is halfway, not at the very end. It's much cheaper to get a vaal 20/20 than a 21/20 regular gem. And yes, sorry, you can't have everything in life. You have to make some choices. You want a 21/20 or a 20/23? You don't use a vaal gem. Last edited by Keyen#4575 on May 19, 2018, 12:24:52 PM
