Telekinesis: Bring Back Some Legendary Goodness!

Hi,

So in D2, pre-nerf, Telekinesis made Soceresses ninjalooter champions. For that reason, it was nerfed (because the loot system was free-for-all only).

Well. That spell (prior to its nerf) was such QoL and oh-so tasty. Anyone who played with it remembers how sweet it was.

For those of you who don't know what Telekinesis used to do: It would pick up anything, from anywhere, instantly. Click! It's in your inventory. Inventory full? Np, it just bounces in place.

Let's bring that goodness to Path of Exile.

In PoE, I would expect it to also ding open Strongboxes and barrels/etc. While that's fairly strong (and impactful), I feel like Telekinesis deserves to feel "OP" bc it once was, back in D2's glory days.

Bring back Telekinesis! Maybe dip your toes into the water by putting it on some chase unique amulet. IDK. But please, it was so sweet and it would be amazing to see it in Path of Exile.

But seriously, does no one else here remember doing "Diablo runs" and then ninjalooting all the goodies (via Telekinesis) to their inventory during the looting clickfest once Diablo kicked it? Gr8 times.

I mean, c'mon. Even without the loot scramble, it's still such QoL and so, so silky.

i know this might speed up things even more,but we are that deep intoclearspeed meta anyway it doubt this bit would matter as long as you still have to klich for every item to pick it up.

i dont waht a talekenesis skill that picks up items though,i would go for a different approach.
the goal would be to make it a non fighting skill that offers "utility" that isnt really needed but very nice to have. (a bit similar to portal gem)

it could be a white area of effect gem that does only 1 dmg and has only 1 level. i´m not sure if its possible.but it should open chests and destroyable objects in a decent area of effect and can be supportet with faster casting,inc aoe and duration while having a channel tag as well.
channeling would "drastically" inc the aoe spreading like a nova.

i used "" because these would obviously need balancing to make it attractive to give up these gemslots (or maybe a weapon swap XD) but not feel mandatory.

some builds that could profit from this already have a high pressure on gem slots (like my highly favored duo/triple curse (if i find a heretics vail in ssf) ed+contagion life occultist)
depending on how fast it would spread it could be used to apply more than one curse with one aoe skill and curse on hit instead of using blasphemy.
i have no idea how linking more than 1 curse to a skill with curse on hit,but i gues it would apply 1 cruse on every hit (with a fast channeling skill this could still be a good option) or it casts all at once.
plz correct me if this is wrong i obviously didint test it

ya mb iw as about to write "doesnt do any dmg" and went with 1 dmg instead becasue i wasnt sure if it would count as hit with 0 dmg for stuff like curse on hit. gona fix that
Times change. Telekinesis is dead, long live remotely operated mini rhoas!
I can see this being useful in rare instances where some loot fell in a tight spot that you simply can't walk over to. I had one occurrence of this in a temple after opening a T3 room box and the item got stuck between it and an altar. Being able to grab it with telekinesis would be great.

Other than that, I don't see a whole lot of uses for it. Chances are good that it would just be faster to run up to it and pick it up than deal with cast speed.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
