Desync issues still in PoE?

Why is Desync still an issue in PoE?
I thought this was addressed some time ago, however that horrible desync is still there. Come on GGG, it's time to get this fixed! it's 2018 already! Last bumped on Nov 22, 2018, 12:53:48 AM

Are you using Lockstep or Predictive networking?
They created the former to fix desync, but they made using it optional. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

Because your connection is shit.
Literally can't fix that for you, if it was good then you would be defaulting to lockstep where there is next to no desync, or if it's shit (over 100ms constantly) it defaults to predictive (both the client and the server running a version of the game where the server predicts based of your inputs, and if you lag there is a gap in what is being processed and you then need to be forced to sync to the server) Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

" That might have coincided with the switch from NetLayer to IBMCloud... dunno, but it's worth looking into. Have them check your path to their servers for glitches. |

" I'll be honest Shags, I dont understand a word of what you said there. Pretty much computer illiterate. I did report that all site functionalities but the forum buttons before making a thread are broken for me. but got no response. No characters, no stash, no passive tree, no items linked in forums, no ascendancy classes, no events, trade never loads, none of the post features like italic image spoiler etc, cant see the animation in the skill revamp part 4 either. also noticed that the latency thing is lying or I dont understand it, when I pressed f1 once the other day I saw the latency going up to 500 and 800, but when I press f1 one more time it was constantly saying its 50 even though I was pretty sure by the amount of lag that it sure as hell wasnt Oblivious

Well i'm posting now because since the delve update i never went able to play normally like the last league..
I almost never had problems with lag and/or desync until delve patch. I'm pretty sure it's not my ISP problems because i can play any other game without lag, watch videos, download comes with 5~8mbps, etc.. I don't know what happened here, but its almost impossible to play :( PS: With lockstep i get tons of lag and almost no desync and with predictive i get almost no lag and tons of desync.. (when i get desynced, i get a spike of "frame time" at 30~80ms.. sometimes even worse.. and normally i play with 6~9ms of frametime |

" i have the same i guess... i7 7700K with corsair h100i asus prime z270-a corsair 32gb(2x16) 2400 cl16 ram running at 1333mhz i guess asus rog strix gtx 1080 lg ultrawide uc98-w samsung ssd 860 evo (windows installed) sandisk sdssda240g (where the game installed) and i have 2 storage hdds win 10 pro spec: i recently returned to the game, and i get stutters and freezes with lockstep, so checked forums they told me to go predictive. it was fine for few days but now i cant even play for 5 mins mobs teleport places, die after some time and at the end i just roam the place with huge ms then afterwards die, i think this is desync. so both modes didnt work, i was using wireless, went cable didnt change a thing. i have a widescreen monitor, changed resolutions graphic settings, vsync, disabled freesync etc and nothing worked. tried the game in both ssd drives also nothing changed. any suggestions ? edit: after reading more stuff, opened game in 64bit, it did help for a while, there were still lag spiked while i cast spells but it was barely visible, i wanted to check if turning off vsync would help and then all the bad stutters back and didnt go away after turning on the csync again and now the stutter is back.. so wierd..
