Spark Witch - Queen of the Lightning Spiders

First off, the title is just because the new effect that you can buy for the Spark spell is awesome. Spiders everywhere!

This is the passive tree I've build up to about 90 points spent;



The idea is to fill the screen with sparks (or spiders) via the chain/fork support gems. These things move fast and bounce off walls for quite a while. It doesn't take long to fill the room with lightning.

The best part about the gameplay is that it is incredibly satisfying to see the whole screen light up like crazy.

If you have the time, let me know if you think this skill tree would work for late game Hardcore. I've just hit 30 and so far I'm very happy with the damage and the ability to stay back and stay alive. I'm hoping with the added life and resistance nodes I can stay safe throughout Cruel and Merciless.

Any input?

Oh the irony... I died at level 31 with this build because I made a stupid mistake and got a little too close to a pack of mobs in Act 3 normal.

So far this has been the farthest I've gotten in the game, but I'm hoping there are some Spark witches out there who can give me some insight on how well this build does in Hardcore.
