hillock is already dead! cant enter town!(cruel difficulty)

Hi guys,

so basically i finished normal act2 with my friend and we were porting to act1 shore on cruel difficulty but then i crashed and he didnt and when i came back into the game after i crashed i found out everything was killed every loot on the ground and worst of all hillock is already dead!it seems i have respawned in the instance from when i was partied with my friend and he went on to kill the boss and everything while i attempted to reconnect to the game, so how do i fix this? i tried relogging but i keep appearing in that instance where hillock is dead.. please help me i hope my character isnt screwed

i dont know if this is a bug or not so i also posted it in the beta general section sorry if it doesnt belong there

use the waypoint at the begining of the map out to a previous act then hold ctrl when you click on the waypoint to go back and use the option to create a new instance.
