Warning message on crafting max-socketed/linked items.

I wasn't paying attention to Vorici's crafting bench, and I accidentally turned a six-socket item into a five-socket item. Obviously, this is a huge loss in value.

Please, could we have at least a warning message when a crafting action would reduce the maximum number of links or sockets that an item has to a non-maximum?

Why? as you said, you were not paying attention and you wouldn't pay attention to a pop up warning either (this has been proven time and again pretty much everywhere)

An additional “are you sure” warning would be a real pain in the ass for people using the crafting bench as intended. People using the socket crafting to get the right colors is common practice and sometimes much cheaper than using chromatic orbs.

easily solvable: just allow a setting for people who wish to be warned. Those who do not wish to may opt to not activate it.

Yea, and you will be like: hmm i'm gonna to not pay attention to my crafting so i'll turn this warning shit on this time.

If you fuck up - it's always all of a sudden, you don't expect yourself to fuck up, so your suggestion is only your attempt to shift the fault from you to the game, that didn't warned you that exact time when you skrewed things up.

But it could probably help to warn when someone tries obviously harming crafting like 6L - non 6L, or 6S - non 6S. And only in these cases. Then you will see something you don't expect and probably never seen and it will bring your attention back to the process.

vorici is the only way to change 6 sockets and for that kind of crafting ( you have to move the item into the crafting bench and not just "missclick" an orb) there is no need for such a warning.
