Weapon range mechanic and dual strike

Hi guys im making my first build from the ground up. Im going dual strike and looking for more info on weapon range.

Will using a foil with 12 weapon range in my left hand and another sword with 7 weapon range in my right give me 12 range in total or will each sword has its own individual range.

I think it will give you 7 range since it won't want to hit with just 1 sword. It should be easy enough to test in game though, just find a stationary enemy and see if you can hit it from as far away with the 7 range weapon equipped.

When dual-wielding weapons with different range, all attacks will use the lower value except for Cyclone, which will use the higher one.
