memory fragments ?

Hi
I got my first memory fragment, but I don't clearly understand.

I applied it on atlas, but now it's marked on atlas,
does it means that all desert map will have +5 forever ?
For me this is an issue if all maps will have +5 with next memory fragment,
how will I survive with my next chars if all map are +5 ?

am I wrong ?

It doesn't change anything about normal maps. If you use a normal Desert map, it will still be the same level. However, those normal Deserts will no longer drop for you. Instead, a different item called Shaped Desert will start dropping. This is a tier 6 map, and follows all the usual rules for T6 maps (such as what maps it can drop in).

You only get a small number of memory fragments (15). There's no way to ugprade every map on your atlas.

And when you said next desert map will be "shaped desert", this will be also the case for low tier maps that drop in act10 (before killing kitavia)? or these ones will continue to be normal ones ?

After you shape Desert into Shaped Desert. Desert can no longer drop, only Shaped Desert can. Shaped Desert is now a higher tier map and can only drop with the appropriate drop restrictions and thus can not spawn in any of the story zones.
