Lightpoacher not gaining Spirit Charge through Abberath's Hooves Autobomber

Hi guys, I am playing an Autobomber utilising Abberath's Hooves to trigger shock/freeze and then getting my Herald of Ice/Thunder to proc.

This build does not use any active damage skills, but does activate Phase Run on cooldown (which I believe counts as a Skill for the purpose of releasing a Spirit Charge).

I tried using Lightpoacher as the helm on this build but as I ran through killing entire packs, I noticed I was not getting Spirit Charges. Is that because my boot's fire does not count as "me" getting the "kill"?

Can anyone clarify this mechanic or perhaps explain why Lightpoacher is not interacting with Abberath's Hooves and if this is intended. Thanks.

Well, do you see the spirit charge icon at all in top left? If not, the hooves are not generating charges for you, if yes, your Phase Run setup does not count as "When you use a skill".

[edit]Sorry, I misread your post. It seems you already know that you aren't getting charges. Can you check if Abberath's Hooves work with other on kill effects? If so, it's probably a bug.[/edit]
