[Solved] 'Magic Colossal Life Flask of Staunching' not completing

Screenshot:  Tried twice. Same issue. Hoping to get some advice or solutions. EDIT: Turns out, you have to create this using the recipes. You cannot modify an existing flask. Did you try to put a white flask in to get the magic one? I tried that and it didn't work.
What you should look for is found under "leveling recipes" or similar (I'm not in the game right now). It was the second category for me in the recipe book. If the recipe doesn't show for you, you need to capture The Conqueror Wurm (in Imperial Gardens) as part of the recipe. Once you catch him the recipe should appear in the list. Of course I had not caught him before and was confused as I couldn't see the recipe. Same for the coral ring recipe for the challenge, need to get the deep dweller (flooded depths act 1) and 3 normal crabs. Still have to figure out how to get the rare onyx amulet or rare four-link. |

Did you use the "Magic Colossal Life Flask of Staunching" recipe, or the "add the Staunching mod to a Flask" recipe?
To complete these challenges, you must use the specific recipe named in the challenge. If you use a different recipe which results in the same item, it does not count. |

" According to poedb, you need Paradisae Venenum (found in Upper Sceptre of God) for the former; and one of Eyepecker, Steelchaw (both from Daresso's Dream), or Brinecrack (Cavern of Anger in A6) for the latter. |

Ah thanks a lot... now I have something to do tonight :)
I guess those challenges are hard to complete without outside help, or you really try to capture every single monster out there to have the recipes show up |

" The Bestiary book has a list of every monster that can be captured. If you catch 'em all, you will unlock all of the recipes. (You need some amount of game knowledge to remember which unique monster spawns where, if you do not want to fully clear every area though.) |

Thanks. I was trying the added Staunching method. I thought that was it.

" I doubt it will be that much longer before guides to completing them show up; keep an eye on the forums and reddit. I saw some sort of tabulation of beast locations, and some people have pointed to, uh, the "Monsters" page in the wiki, in answer to questions about locations? Add in the forthcoming changes to make capture easier, even if you kill the mob, and I think you should have the ability soon to get through these without investing significant time investigating on your own. |

I'm sorry but that's ridiculous. I didn't even know there was a "craft a magic colossal flask of staunching" specific recipe, and I wasted 8 beasts using the other one for the challenge. It resulted in the same thing, why shouldn't we get the credit? :\

Because you didn't do the thing the challenge asked you to do?
