Poison and non-chaos damage added as chaos

Hey so having seen the new trickster ascendancy, im very interested in the harness the void node, which adds a % of non-chaos damage as extra chaos damage.
My question is, does %non chaos damage added as chaos damage count towards the base damage of the skill for the purpose of poison? So will the extra damage count for the poison? Last bumped on Feb 26, 2018, 8:28:23 PM

It's still the damage you do, so yes

So for instance, if I use EK. I can get 200% of the base damage added as chaos. Then convert to elemental damage and get another 200% of that elemental damage added as chaos. For a poison that deals 20% of 400% of the base damage of EK.

How do you convert chaos to ele and back to chaos?
