GGG can you please just put Supporter Packs for sale on Amazon?

I have 400 USD in my Amazon account.

I cannot buy supporter packs because POE points sold on Amazon has no value in purchasing supporter packs.

Just put supporter packs on Amazon so those who do not have credit cards etc can just purchase Amazon Gift Cards at their local shop and use it on Amazon to buy supporter packs

You could sell it as Supporter pack tiers

Tier 1 = any supporter pack for $30 USD

Tier 2 = any supporter pack for a value of $60 USD

And so on. You just buy the tier and use it to purchase a supporter pack

if you buy supporter packs directly from the webpage, only xsolla charges them with whatever is in their long term contract (maybe 3 to 5%).


if you buy supporter packs or points on other sites like steam or notAmazoning which count towards packs, ggg only gets 3/4rds of your support.

The only reason I was able to buy a supporter pack for POE is because I sold my AWP Asiimov skin in CS GO. So GGG still got something rather than nothing. Then after that I bought a $50 pack of POE points on amazon

Either GGG makes half the money from supporter pack from me or they make nothing.

In the very same way there are countless people who do NOT own credit cards etc and have no means of purchasing any supporter packs. Their only current option would be to purchase gift cards at their local store and just activate it on Amazon.

GGG already sells POE points on Amazon. They simply need to expand this

Offcourse they should, customers are what keeps them alive, customers are their lifeline.

It isn't rocket science it is basic economics

I would appreciate if you tuned down the snarky libtard attitude and focus on economics. Because I have no idea what on earth you are so triggered over, they already have POE points on Amazon so therefore offering supporter packs through Amazon would be another method of bringing in money a new avenue they would not have otherwise had.

No offense but you should be the last one to talk about anything regarding this subject an issue you have demonstrated you have zero knowledge off, you do not even own a supporter pack. So I would appreciate you stop trying to derail my thread because your behavior here is borderline trolling.

You have clearly demonstrated you have no knowledge of how economics and business work and to top it off you are talking down to others for supporting this game when you do not even own a supporter pack.

GGG has already requested we make suggestions on other payment avenues for customers, they have demonstrated that they are willing, they went through Steam and then Amazon through POE points. By expanding some more on Amazon through supporter packs they will open another avenue for making a profit which they would not have had otherwise. Case in point me buying supporter packs with my steam Wallet or POE points with my Amazon gift cards.

Your answer was perfectly fine! It's 100% true that third party sites like Amazon would take a bigger cut than Xsolla. This has nothing to do with any of Xsolla's other business practices. Some people just don't like being contradicted and their immediate reaction to anyone even perceived to be disagreeing with them is to accuse the other person of being a fanboy/liberal idiot/moron/etc. These sorts of people are not really worth your time.

All you did was provide a fact that contributes meaningfully to the thread. It just happened to be one that didn't align with what the OP wanted. No crime on your behalf.

It's not a simple issue either. Would the extra money GGG make from Amazon support pack sales justify the potential loss of revenue from the greater cut Amazon would take? I think only GGG can answer that. From a consumer's perspective, of course more options are always welcome, and I suspect the OP isn't the sort of person to see much beyond their own perspective, in this case as a consumer.

I also imagine selling GGGold is a much simpler process than selling a Support pack, and perhaps this isn't something GGG want to do with a third party involved. GGG might have requested feedback for payment avenues but I wouldn't assume that extends to something as intrinsically bound to the game as Support Packs. Not to mention Support Packs can cost a lot more than GGGold packages -- GGG might be okay with Amazon taking a fair cut of GGGold sales when they're in smaller units but Amazon would take a solid chunk out of each Support Pack sale over $100. That would add up for sure.

None of this seems like a smart move for GGG.

If anyone's a fanboy here, it's someone like me whose bottom line is: GGG should do whatever is best for GGG because a healthy, wealthy GGG to me means a better supported and developed PoE. As a consumer, that is my perspective. If that means offering support packs through Amazon, cool. If not, equally cool.

It's as fair as I'd expect. I don't think whether or not GGGold can be bought through Amazon was ever in question.

But we've never seen Support Packs sold through third party sites and I suspect there are a few good reasons for this. Strongly suspect.

If GGG can justify it at some point, then all good. Full steam ahead. If not, no bigs.
