Somehow I was able to shape two tier 8 maps.

I had a shaped tier 8 map already and while doing some elder influenced maps I somehow managed to get a second Memory Fragment IX to drop. Zana then gave me another Tier 8 Shaper orb. At first I thought that if I used it, my previously shaped T8 would be unshaped, but this is not what happened.

Here is the end result:

You are correct. After the first 10, you can earn 4 additional by defeating Elder & his Guardians in red maps. To earn the 15th you must defeat Elder in a T15 red map.

OP likely defeated a red guardian to earn the 11th shaper orb.
