Best Build for Hall of the Grandmaster?

Thinking about Es Base with Scorching Ray (+ RF ? )

any useful builds out thier? Probably going Occulist for more es ? or is Guardian better with Low Life and Mass Aura Stacking?

That's fine the only issue you will run is GGDazangaGG or w/e his name is aka Deadshot.

His shots do about 3m+ if it crits which is 90% of the time

If your RF / Scorching ray you won't have issue with the block boys aka The Immortals

If your not CI base Jdog will rip your dick in half if you stand in his blight. So lets recap

I've been carrying a lot of these so I nicknamed them quite well and they do deserve those titles lol

it's Danzig... It's dethklok's submission with my items and tree. He did last touches to tree and to the socket choices. Make sure you have no extra damage from crits pantheon. that's all you need to deal with that char.

any immortal you can kill with balefire mace and using 4l scorching ray.

the strongest pvp builds are Explosive arrow, Kinetic Blast both as Pathfinder. Simply, you gotta offscreen 1-2 shot all the masters. That's the best strategy

Ive been playing gc miner and easily farm the map without any sweat.

Dangerous ones are those with essence drain, lightning arrow and some other forms of chaos damage. But then I mostly blow them up before they can do anything.

For 2 max block char i use balefire (5L scorching ray item) and kill them easily.

I use scorching ray CI tank.



you can check out my character Xukai. It makes use of regen and almost every form of damage reduction available. ( there are still a couple left for me to tap into). Something like this may work for you.

Mitigation includes:

-Permanent fortify from Champion ascendancy
-25% reduced elemental damage taken from incandescent heart.
-fire damage taken as cold damage from Great wolf (combine this with purity of ice for high cold res applying to both cold/fire). This also means fore pen doesn't work on you.
-%Less phys/fire damage taken from arctic armor.
-%Less phys/light damage taken from storm barrier.
-reduced damage taken after warcries from champion ascendancy.
-20% Reduced DoT taken from shield
-CWDT enfeeble
-Immune to chaos damage from CI

Note some gems are swapped out for some experimenting atm but I would include cwdt enfeeble and possibly IC etc.

I chose not to focus heavily on block because it is easily countered if a GM used BCR gem.

on rf with SR totem the only real issue I've had was the CA one in hall of heroes because my chaos res was garbage and non-hit degen was killing me badly

don't remember blight guy but I have high spelldodge so... didn't seem like an issue

You generally want something with a setup and frontloaded damage. Explosive Arrow, Volatile Dead, mines etc. Scorching Ray swap for block guys. Uniques and passives with reduced extra damage taken from critical strikes. That's about it.
