Methods for crafting Rings
|
Hi, a few days ago I got a deck of divination cards that gave me a random item level 100 ring, and it traded for a steel ring. With it, spamming alts and using regals when I got to decent stats, I got a rare steel ring with 3 affixes, all of them T1. This got me excited since it was the first time I tried to craft something and wondering what other methods are there to craft rings? If any of you guys know and care to share I'd be very happy!

Depends on what you want to do.
For real high-tier crafting, the standard method is to chaos spam until you hit double T1 suffixes or double T1 prefixes and then exalt for the third pre/suffix. Once you got 3 T1 prefixes or 3 T1 suffixes, you metacraft (repeatedly exalt, if you get shit you delete the pre- or suffixes with "prefixes cannot be changed" / "suffixes cannot be changed" + scour). You can also hit triple T1 pre-/suffixes directly if you are lucky. If you got three T1 affixes that are good, but not all pre- or all suffixes, you can multimod for 2ex. Pretty much only worth it if you got either T1 phys damage or T1 life on the ring, though, ideally both. One can also sell non-crafted ilvl 100 steel rings for quite a bit.
