Does Edict of flames "hit" the mobs?

I don't know if this is going to activate Elemental Equilibrium or not. If it does hit, is there any way to remove it, or do i have to get new gloves? https://imgur.com/a/sKk0P

Yes, the Of Flames enchantments will hit enemies.
If you don’t want that enchantment, run through the Lab again. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.
