Righteous Fire doesn't work

Hi everyone, I am having a problem when I use my RF. I've been playing POE for some time now but I'm new to the RF mechanics. As you see from the image, i cannot see my RF ring. my life goes down, ES stay but RF doesn't work. (believe me i tried!) Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or maybe I'm not. I'd appreciate if you help me to solve that problem! Thanks in advance Last bumped on Dec 22, 2017, 3:59:01 PM

Righteous Fire disables itself when your Life (not ES) reaches 1.
In your screenshot, your Life is on 1. |

Could you please allow me to see your characters tab?
It's difficult to answer questions about a character I know nothing about. :) |

" Now you can see it :) didn't know it was hidden, sorry :) i'm guessing that maybe it might be because of fire resistance. |

" Not really... ![]() You don't have enough Energy Shield regeneration to offset Righteous Fire's damage, so your ES is depleted and your Life hits 1, at which point Righteous Fire cannot be activated again. You shouldn't expect to maintain RF without actively doing something to keep your life up at level 31. The build relies on increasing your Fire Resistance over the 75% default cap to reduce the damage you take from RF, while having significant Regeneration. |

" Okay, thank you. So i shouldn't expect to use RF at the moment with level 31. I need to have more ES regeneration to maintain RF so I guess I will be able to use it the more I improve my character. |

You can use it, just you'll need to make sure your Fire Resistance is capped and it'll mean using Flasks and / or something else to help keep your Life up. Your character seems to be pretty strongly focused on ES currently, which probably isn't the best idea.
It used to be the case that Life was better for leveling and ES was typically better at high levels with expensive gear. Since then GGG has issued some pretty savage ES nerfs. |
