20%Q Magic Flask =/= Glassblower's Bauble
|
Hi,
So I noticed that normal Flasks, at 20%Q, sell for a Glassblower's Bauble, but magic Flasks at 20%Q sell for Alteration Shards. Could this be changed? Thanks! Why? Same holds true for blacksmith whetstones and armourers scraps and chisels.

Here's an analogous scenario:
(Unique Object) is of characteristic (a) and characteristic (b). an (Object) of characteristic (a) can be exchanged for 5 units. an (Object) of characteristic (b) can be exchanged for 50 units. Only getting 50 units in exchange for (Unique Object) is already giving up 5 units. But to be given 5 units? That's being ripped off by at least 45 units. - 0 * - < _ > - * 0 -- 0 * - < _ > - * 0 -- 0 * - < _ > - * 0 -- 0 * - < _ > - * 0- 0 * - <

Well imo it should default to the more valuable one. Baubles are worth about three times as much as full Alterations, not to mention shards. If you can get alchemy shards from Rares, I can understand not getting Scraps, but to have an item lose value if you use a currency on it feels strange. If there were rare flasks, it would make more sense. Also, if I'm not mistaken, it's possible to use the 40% quality recipe with a mix of normal and magic flasks.
I'm not in favour of exceptions, but flasks being an exception already with only two available modifiers could well be adjusted. |
