Map shaping strategy?

What's the best way to approach?


Deal with the shaper/elder maps? I'm able to reach T4 shaper orb and it's put to a stop at the moment. I'm surprised the shaper orbs i have prior the patch do work and saved alot of heartache ._.

can't even reach a T5 shaper orb...chasing around elder/shaper maps trying to influence the atlas..

You probably shouldn't; between the moving influence, and the normalization of XP per unit time, it is fairly clear that one part of this update is an effort to discourage shaping to a purpose by GGG.
