Molten Strike bug with lab enchant on gloves

When I'm wearing gloves with "Trigger Word of Force on Hit" lab enchant, my Molten Strike stops working properly:
If the melee part hits, the projectiles don't do any damage.
If the melee part misses (for example, I attack the ground), the projectiles deal damage normally.

If I take the gloves off, molten strike behaves normally. I'm assuming the lab enchant is the problem, since the gloves don't have any special mods other than the lab enchant.


This was tested on A1 Coast with a lvl 48 character. You can check my profile, character is a Raider named AsuraByss.

I seem to have a similar problem with the enchant 'fury on hit'. It's hard to say specifically what is happening, but with the gloves equipped it appears the balls just miss 9/10 times.
