random black screens and more game crashes after 3.1 update

Disclamer: i've gotten game crashes very frequently before, but now after 3.1 it has become much worse.

here are some examples of the crashes im getting now (they mostly appear after an action is performed):

(New since in 3.1 - with video): Black screens: sometimes, the game freezes for a couple of seconds but then the screen turns black. i can still cast spells and perfrom actions (judgeing by the sounds i get in response to clicking a button) you can find a video of how it looks --> here <--


(old, but more frequent - with screenshot): Game crashes with an "Exeption" textbox appearing: the game freezes, then turns works for a split second and then it freezes again eith a message like this
