I have been playing POE since the beta release on Xbox One and I have yet to figure out how to tell what the heck the buff/debuff icons are. When getting hit with curses, buffs, or debuffs, and I don't have the pictures memorized, it does get a little frustrating that I have no idea how to tell what it is. I get it..some of the picture icons are common sense. However, I can't pause the game to look at the list of the icons from the forums to see which picture matches which buff/debuff icon I have.
Am I missing something here?

Nah, they just don't put any actual information on it. You pretty much have to get hit with something, see the icon, go into stats to see how it affects your toon and memorize it.
