Iron Grip

hi all.
Does iron grip increase the damage of projectile spells like molten orb or ice spear?
anyone tried that?

If it says Spell at the top of the skill description, Iron Grip will apply to it.

You are confusing Iron Grip and Iron Will. I do the same thing a lot.

Iron Will applies Strength bonus to spells.
Iron Grip applies Strength bonus to projectiles.

Iron Grip applies to ATTACK projectiles. So it will apply to Molten Strike, but not to Ice Spear or Magma Orb.

theoretically (and I personally used it once), you can use Crown of Eyes helmet and have then Iron will applicable to attacks (and all the damage types, not only phys damage). Note that the same modifier cannot apply twice, so it makes sense only in case that the damage you want to scale does not come from physical damage..

but there is no way to make Iron grip affect spells.
