Bug - German content not shown

Hello,

I've tried to enable the german content and restarted the client (not steam) multiple times. The options say the language is set to german, but, there is none.



What I saw, when starting from desktop the short initial loader has a language selection on top left corner, there is still english checked in. Maybe thats the problem, but I cant switch that.

Do I miss here something?

Same Probleme for me with German, French and Spain (news languages).

With other languages, it's OK

Okay, here's what I've found out..

I had the same symptoms as well,

after patching and launching 3.0.2, I selected the flag for German language and restarted the client as prompted > german language flag not selected in start screen, but it was selected ingame in the options menu.. anyway, still everything in english..

couldn't find any info on the forum. but in my case,

the problem was that I was starting Path of exile from a shortcut on my desktop,
linked to the PathOfExile_x64.exe directly in my game's install folder. that's why it didn't work for me.

here's what I did to get the new language/translation to work (only tried with german so far) :

opened the install folder, and tried to use the Client.exe and PathOfExile.exe instead..
oddly, after selecting german again, this time around it worked > interface appears in german right from the main menu

also, if you choose the client.exe and the PathOfExile.exe , I saw in task manager that PoE will still use the PathOfExile_x64.exe afterwards if you leave directx11 selected as your renderer, so you don't have to fallback to dx9/32bit just in order to get the new language it seems :)

I'm now at work (who had guessed that...) I'll try this this evening :)

Starting via Client.exe seems to work for me too. Except for when I try to use launch options (I use --noasync) then the game loads in english but I can then click on the german flag and let the client restart - this time in german.

With PathOfExile.exe, it's OK for me

But with PathOfExile_x64.exe -> allways in English

Use client.exe as this will remove the lenguage problems and use the 64bit client.
