New Prophecy Suggestions


Prophecy “Monstrous Treasures” and “Bountiful Traps” are awesome, but where’s their Breach counterparts? Considering Prophecy is here to stay, let’s update it with new awesome things to continue making it even better!

I vote for the “Grasping Ground” prophecy and the “Unseen Realms” prophecy to become reality!


Grasping Ground
Area contains 36 Breaches.
Only available in map.
All non fixed-placed monsters are packed into Breaches.
Able to stack with Zana's Breach mod.
”In a foreign dream, dimensions converge like a canvas, leaving many threads to be unraveled.”
You will travel to a map that has been overrun by breaches.

Unseen Realms
Area contains six extra Breaches.
Able to stack with Zana's Breach mod.
“In a far away dream, ethereal hands reach from the ground looking for blood and loot.”
You will travel to a map that holds 6 additional breaches.

I know right! I never believed there were actually 36 strongboxes in monstrous treasure, but they go by so fast!
Do you know how quickly 36 Breaches in a single instance would murder entire servers (much less crash instances?)

Actually, no I don't, cause you can only open one breach at a time last I checked.

It wouldn't be any more laggy then a normal breach.

Also all bodies are cleared after a breach so... no particles/model effects either.
Breaches can only be opened one at a time so that mitigates the issue a bit.

Still, 36 of them seems excessive. Maybe 20ish would be better?

I'm not talking about multiple breaches being opened at the same time. I'm talking about the items. Remember how vacuum farming fucked things? Hit alt to unhide all loot, and... instance crash.

I do find it amusing how everyone's whining and complaining because of lack of mob density, but at the same time complaining about breaches cause "too many mobs, too much loot."

It's up to GGG to figure out what their servers can handle. Question is if people like the idea.
But that would make the game fun.

Nah, let's add a couple of footprint effects to the shop instead.

breaches are already too good in terms of loot and xp

36 breaches ? the xp and loot there would be absurd. look at beacheads, its already a problem when best way to xp is through a particular map/item. at least beachhead is league-specific
