Simple question about Bleeding

I've been searching the interwebs for an hour now but didn't find an answer to this:
1)Does a critical strike with an attack that deals just physical damage inflict bleeding? 2)Does a critical strike with an attack that deals physical and elemental damage inflict bleeding? Critical strikes can only cause elemental ailments, not Bleed or Poison.

Critical strikes don't necessarily inflict bleed. You need a bleed chance. Poison is the same.
If you deal mixed damage, you can inflict bleed but the bleed damage will only be based on the physical damage you dealt. Have you done something awesome with [url=http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Sire_of_Shards]Sire of Shards[/url]? PM me and tell me all about it!
