Do harbinger shards drop in beachheads?
Just an interesting observation I made: I've completed over 30 T15 beachhead maps, and I haven't had a single harbinger shard drop. There's a steady stream of all other shard types, from transmutations all the way up to ancients and exalts, but no harbingers. Kinda weird, because it's a harbinger map ;) Is it the same for everyone, or is RNG playing some sort of a trick on me? 30+ maps should be a representative sample...

Check your filter.

Same here. I assume it's because they don't want beachhead to be self sustaining.

Kind of makes sense, in a weird GGG sort of way.

" Kinda makes sense when you put it that way :) Although if they gave harbinger shards the same drop rate as ancient shards, chaining wouldn't be a problem. Generally you can consider yourself lucky if you get a full ancient orb out of a beachhead. And you need a lot more than one harbinger orb to roll a beachhead. So with a moderate drop rate, you'd be able to supplement your beachhead pool every once in a while at best. Fuck master rotas. Fuck any kind of rotas, for that matter. No, no harbinger shards in the beachhead, by design. It's been well-known since day 2 of the league.
