Level 1 gems?

There are a lot of combinations which require level 1 skill gems, and for some uknown reason you can't buy them anymore

So what to do? Trading in this game sucks with capital "S", so I can't buy them. All my trading expirience so far was whispering without responce. Find it? Probably in 5-6 month of constant playing I will find this particular gem, one in a thousand.

Is it any orb, capable of deleveling the gem? Or what I supposed to do?

There's a vendor recipe for this. You can sell a skill gem and an Orb of Regret, and the vendor will offer a level 1 version of the skill gem. Handy if you've a few spare Regrets. :)


Edit: Does Siosa not sell skill gems at level 1? Can't check atm.

I think you can pick up all the level 1 gems in Library in act 3 after you do the quest. I think this league the gems are not leveled when you buy them there.

Yes, Siosa sells level 1 skill gems after doing his quest in the Library ACT III.
BUT there are a few he won't sell (those you acquire as quest rewards and/or buyable in ACT IV... like CWDT or Curse on Hit)

Lilly Roth sells level 1 skill gems too (including those not aviable at Siosa), ACT 6 town (and onwards)
