The Harbinger Language

First of all thanks to everyone who has contributed, in any way/shape/form, to deciphering the harbinger language/lore. Without all the previous research done by the community, I wouldn't have even made this post. I originally posted this as a comment to the thread containing a compilation of what we have discovered about the harbingers so far. A link to this thread can be found here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1942381. I wanted to post this as a separate thread so more people would see it, as I'd appreciate all the help I can get in refining this summary of what we know, as well as my own thoughts/translations that I've intertwined into this post.

Based on all the symbols in the google docs, I have a guess as to the harbinger's backstory. Thanks to Bex, we know the uniques tell a story of the harbingers and why they are here. We know the beast is involved somehow, and we know that their "God of Domination" (GoD) plays a key roll.

Let us assume for a moment that GoD is a deity. GoD was imprisoned by the beast the same way the other gods were. As such, I propose the following translations of the text on the unique items. This translation is based on the google doc (link is in the original post).

Flow Untethered:
"GoD uses his manipulation on all creatures in dream.
GoD uses his manipulation on all creatures in time.
Our faithful GoD is ascending into a GoD of manipulation"

The Tempest's Binding:
"The beast spread a nova through all time,
Placing an ailment on GoD's power.
Our faithful GoD is now imprisoned, becoming simply a GoD.
Our faithful GoD is now shattered, becoming a GoD of the arcane"

The Fracturing Spinner:
"Our GoD was one with the creatures and the land.
Now our GoD is one with a temporal prison.
Our faithful GoD has shattered the creatures of our land"

(The last sentence is fairly literal based on the symbolism. I take it's meaning to reference how GoD's imprisonment prevents him from manipulating the creatures, in essence causing their destruction)

The Unshattered Will:
"The beast was dead throughout all time.
GoD delivered a brutal strike to his prison.
GoD's will is not broken."

The Enmity Divine:
"Our GoD's brutality lead to his imprisonment.
Our GoD of the arcane hungers for expansion.
However, GoD was contained in a prison not easily broken.
Our GoD focused on the arcane, hungering to become a faithful GoD of the arcane."

The Rippling Thoughts:
"Our faithful GoD gives all creatures in the land.
Our faithful GoD has a hunger for expansion.
Our faithful GoD will never lose focus,
a faithful focus on wraeclast."

The Beachhead:
"The faithful GoD will shatter all the land,
bringing ruin to Wraeclast."

In short, the uniques tell a story of creatures who were once inhabitants of the world of dreams, or maps. They were capable of bending and manipulating the creatures of that world to their will. However, when Sin came along and created the beast, their deity was sealed away. The harbingers attributed this to his brutality. Throughout his imprisonment, the GoD became a master of the arcane. This explains why the harbingers can both manipulate creatures and cast spells. Eventually, upon the death of the beast, the GoD broke free, allowing him to spread his influence once more. Desiring for more than just the domain of maps, GoD set his sights on wraeclast, threatening it's destruction.

Consider the similarities between the harbinger's abilities and the Shaper (as pointed out by someone earlier, I forget who). It is very likely that the Shaper encountered the GoD while exploring the maps. This is most likely where the Shaper learned all of his abilities from, and how the GoD came to learn of wraeclast. This in turn provided the motivation for his expansion.

The Shaper's actions are threatening the destruction and stability of the maps, the GoD's actions are now threatening the destruction and stability of wraeclast.
