Offline Single Player Mode - Xbox One

Hey does anybody know if Internet is required to login to your profile on Path of Exile on Xbox One? I currently can't get internet where i live and it keeps telling me I have to connect to the internet to login to my profile. I know they advertised Offline Single Player at launch so its ridiculous that they require you to be connected to the internet to even be able to login to your Xbox profile and get into the game. Am I just missing something or is it legit that you must have internet to access your profile to play the game? Or is this a bug?

Hey there,
I am actually the person that wrote that. I'm familiar with the game and had reached out to PR about XBL requirements. Apparently, wires were crossed in the info, as they said you could play solo without XBL. Sorry, I've updated the article. |
