Curse on hit does not work with Warlord's Mark.

I'm newbie. Trying to understand dynamics. My character Lvl 57 based on elemantalist firestorm build witcher. I have Lvl 7 warlord's mark and Lvl 6 Curse on hit support gem. I can not work them together.
When i put it together on a linked item, i see a command on the skill writing (Skill can't be used). I've seen people using them together. Can someone explain how may i work them together ?

You have to link it to a skill that will apply it.

<attack skill> - curse on hit - curse

Only the attack that is linked with curse on hit can apply the curse.

An alternative if you have the spare mana would be linking the curse with Blasphemy support to turn the curse into an aura which applies the curse to anything within the aura radius.

I try firestorm-warlord's mark and curse on hit together. Firestorm as a attack skill but geting same command.

(Skill can't be used means?) I can't use the curse spell manually but it works together with firestorm automatically or this spell doesn't work??

I use warlord's mark with blasphemy that works i think. What if i use warlord's alone. Does it effect my firestorm by unlinked ? I use Warlord's mark with blasphemy as linked but firestorm seperate from warlord and blasp.

Sorry if I misunderstood but once you link warlords to curse on hit, warlords will show as "cannot be used". With them all linked, your firestorm should apply the curse even though the curse displays that message.

Yeah, you can use the curse by itself if you wanted.

If you're using blasphemy, all it needs to be linked to is the curse.

I get the message (Skill can't be used) both of using Firestorm-warlord-curse on hit and warlord-curse on hit but if i use warlord with blasphemy i don't get the (Skill can't be used) message. I can see an aura around my character and it effects monsters.

Now i understand. When i linked firestorm, warlord and curse on hit together, applies linked curse on hit message appear on my firestorm symbol and also when i examine warlord's mark symbol i see Skill can't be used message. Firestorm work with warlord i suppose.

I solve it i can see my curse on monsters when i use firestorm. Firestorm, warlord's mark and curse on hit support linked together :).

You dont have to link Blasphemy, warlords mark and Firestorm together. Only Blasphemy and Warlords mark. Link Firestorm with other support gems to make it stronger.

I know. Of course ı will not use them togeter. I just did it for understand the situation.

I use firestorm with ( spell echo - elemantal focus - controlled destruction - life leach - fire penetration )

Sounds good. You could probably get rid of life leech now that you have warlords mark though, anyway, hf and gl :)
