Question about farming
|
I'm fairly new, have a few chars starting Act 8, one of which I have a "very" expensive build planned for about 750c in cost (Idk is that considered very expensive?), and Im wondering how many hours Im looking at to grind that much after I finish Act 10.
Vets, once you're freshly done with A10, how many chaos can you generally farm per hour? Last bumped on Aug 13, 2017, 1:51:16 AM

Its a combinations of things.
There are different ways to farm. #1 - Pick everything and sell everything (meaning id everything and vendor). - This way is slow but sure and you will sell every chrome and jew orb(fuses). #2- Farm Super fast and only pick up currency items that are worth to pick up. - This way you will bank mainly in 6s items and chaos and alch orbs that drop. (note you need a fast build for this or else it wont work). #3- is for me the easiest way to do it (its basically the SSF way) This way is the unid-chaos or recipe (sell an unid armor, 2hd weapon, belt, boots, gloves, amulet and 2 rings). you will get 2 chaos orbs. I am at about 350 chaos saved and i hate the chaos orb recipe i pick up everything!!!!!! I also got lucky with few unique. 6s make you lots of money. Hope it helps. |

" Once you have a stable red map pool, you can make enough chaos per hour that the chaos recipe becomes a complete waste of time. You have to know what's worth picking up, though, and which maps to run and how to run them. And you need a build that can clear fast. If you only need 2 minutes per map, you can run a lot of maps in an hour. |

Depends a lot on your effectiveness and experience. If you make a boss killer build and kill the correct content you can easily generate the chaos you need within a day or two not counting the time it takes to set up that character. The earlier in the league you manage to set it up the more profitable it is. 750chaos is what I would call a mid range build, budget builds are generally below 100c, mid range 100-1000 and expensive anything above 1000c(note this is my opinion).
Fast clear build eventually take over the throne for effective grinding when they can run MF with reasonable speed/clear, but in general those builds take a far greater investment than the boss killer builds to get started. |

Hey, I've done this in every league --- Lab runner, there's LOADS of people day in, day out, that need lab runs. I charge 1C per normal (Run 4 people) 2C per cruel run (Again 4 people) and Merc 4C per person (1-4 people) it's fantastic money.
I make about 200C per day easily. Learn to do lab, you're in the money. |
