G-Sync or V-Sync not working on DX11

Either G-Sync or V-sync mode is not working on DX11 mode. Once I change the mode to DX9 EX framerate drops to 144 and GPU does not work overtime.

Newest Nvidia drivers installed and no effect on forcing Sync mode through them. Fullscreen / Windowed Fullscreen has no effect either.

PC:

6700K
1080Ti
16GB ram
Acer XP270HU G-sync monitor

To actually use V-sync, you have to be in a fullscreen-mode.

As for G-sync you preferably have to play in a fullscreen mode also, as the borderless option doesn't always play nice with G-sync, especially, if you have more than 1 monitors. (if you want to try, remember to change the G-sync availability from nvidia control panel to let g-sync work in windowed mode also).

You cannot use G-sync and V-sync at the same time too.

If your fps drop to 144, than you most probably have g-sync + v-sync on.

To check if g-sync is working simply set monitor for example to 120hz along with g-sync in NVidia control panel and in game setup up v-sync. If your dps is 144fps than everything works fine. If you turn off v-sync, than you should get more than 144 fps as v-sync cap your fps to your monitor refresh rate. If you turn off g-sync + v-sync on, than your fps should be 120hz and if both are turned off, than it should be above 144hz again.
