Harbinger boss in Beachhead unique map frozen

So I killed all but 1 monster in the Beachhead unique map and now I'm at the boss and he appears to be frozen in place at the bottom of the stairs in front of the big blue portal thingy.

I ran into a similar issue, but the boss didn't spawn at all. The entrance/exit is also not available, so I cannot return to the rest of the map.

That is exactly what happened for me except he spawned right on the steps then stopped moving and never summoned anything. Couldn't exit either like you.
