Droprate Act 5

Is it only me or is the droprate in Act5 prety low?

Compared to the other Acts it dropped only 1/3 of the ammount even with a higher monster density.

Even the chests drop less items than normal.

Would be nice to see a adjustment here.

When all the other Acts drop normaly.

But I also always press Alt to see all items after every mob. ;)
Act 5 is when I start seeing better drops. The Templar areas in particular are loaded with chests (same with the Ostuary).

Sounds like RNG is just being RNG.
I didn't see any lower drop rate in act 5 and am now in Act 7. I do see that the quality of drops is lower. I'm into act 7 (just gave the locket to the old crusty captain) and only have one 5 Link weapon, 3 leveling unique bows, and 1 unique amulet and ring. It is pretty pathetic that I must stack tons of quality to get any good leveling gear. Seems like the more the top <1% of player base races to level 100 each league (this time many had run the full 10 acts in < 48 hours) the more GGG thinks that the quality of drops needs to be nerfed to slow these handful of total players that race to 100 (as of 8-14-17 there are 2 SSF Harbinger players at 97).

I have never viewed the few no-lifer players that race to 100 in each and every 3 month challenge league as being a problem. Why GGG views any fast (< 1 month) level 100 build as a problem is both a mystery to me and also sad that GGG wants to stop them, all at the expense of the 99.x% rest of players. We're here playing PoE for arpg fun and for GGG to double down on nerfs to stop a few outlier players that want to race to 100 < 1 month just nerfs fun for the rest of us.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

Unconfirmed but i feel every standard game level has its own modifiers like endgame maps (though not as extreme)

So if i get a level that is dropping crap gear ill reroll the instance until i get one full of rare mobs dropping fun stuff. Granted not ever level is worthy of redoing for loot farm.

Basically you could just be on an RNG bad luck streak with the instances you do. I got tons of loot in act 5 but i did the main square multiple times because it was satisfying on my ED/Cont build to do so.
just for try, for see and for know
