Bug #3877346353 - Can't complete "The Shaper" quest - Standard League

Edit: Found a solution and posted below.

Original post:
1. Got the quest by talking to Zana and selecting "Introduction".
2. Completed the mission on the blue map she gave me. The quest reads "You have completed Zana's mission. Talk to her outside of Maps to learn more".
3. Exited the map and went to Oriath to put sheit into stash.
4. Returned to The Templar Laboratory to talk to Zana.
5. She has nothing to say regarding the quest, no conversation option will advance it.

I have zero reputation with Zana so I can't invite her to my hideout to see if that changes things.
The quest appears (in the same state) for all my standard legacy characters.



Please assist/advice!

I have the same bug, with similar reproduction steps.

1. I completed my first map yesterday, which was before 3.0.
2. I met Zana for the first time in Eternal Laboratory, she gave me a yellow map.
3. 3.0 hit
4. I entered a white map from new Templar Laboratory.
5. I met Zana in the map. She gave lore speech and a quest to kill the area boss.
6. I killed the area boss, objective updated to "Talk to Zana outside the map" (or something like this).
7. I cleared the rest of the map.
8. I completed the Ascendancy Trial that was in the map.
9. I returned to Templar Laboratory, objective updated to "Talk To Zana", but she won't progress the quest (no explanation mark). Reputation with her is at 0/4700.

Before 3.0 I had the game completed on Merciless. After 3.0 I haven't yet done any secondary quests.

Good news: I encountered a solution to the problem!

I continued running maps and on map run 5 or so Zana showed up with a quest.
After completing her new quest my reputation with her increased enough for it to advance to level 2 (I had 0 starting out). To my surprise I was then able to talk to her again in the Templar Laboratory and advance the first quest.

If it is intended to work this way I have no idea, if it is the quest description is misleading at best ;)

Anyway I hope this helps someone facing the same problem.

Worked for me as well. Few maps later I met Zana again inside a map and after completing her mission I could progress "The Shaper" quest and invite her to hideout.

I have to say though, if this was intended, it was quite unclear.

Have the same problem, did a lot of maps and still no advancement in quest, still zero reputation.

Well... same "issue" here. Zana simply ignore us :/
Waiting for resolution.

Same problem here, I finished like 10 maps and nothing, she still ignores the quest.

The problem persists, after 30 maps done...
