How does the torrent pre download work?

I have downloadet PoE-3.0.0-preseed.torrent

Do i only need to copy this into the game folder when the timer says 3 hours and then start the game with the download?
Or do i have to rename it or open it with kind of editor or something. And do i need to choose a torrent server? How does is work?

You can find the torrent here. This torrent only includes the GGPK file, so you'll need to copy it into your actual install folder once the patching server is up, no earlier than three hours before The Fall of Oriath launches.

DL file now to a different folder.
Then do the bolded part.

Ok so i just have to copy it and start the launcher when patch servers are live. i thought i had to extract the ggpk file out of the .torrent file. :D
