regular Blackscreens with Sapphire Radeon RX 550 4GB OC

Just lost my Rank 25 something Hardcore SSF char due to getting a blackscreen while fighting dual Colonnade boss xd

I bought a brand new computer like 2 weeks ago. I post the stuff from the dxdiag file below.

I get like 1-2 blackscreens in 10 hours playing. Its not that bad but it sucks to die in hardcore or lose xp bars in softcore because of that. The game otherwise runs pretty okay.

It runs on DX9ex mode with everything off on 1600x900. I tried DX11 beta but the shadows hurt my eyes and make the fans spinning a lot more. I tried both vsync of the game and vsync of the gpu driver, neither prevents the game from blackscreening.

The blackscreens are like this: First the screen freezes for some seconds, then it turns black, then I land at desktop but the program is still running. If I maximize it again then I land at the main menu and in the bottom left there is the writing "An unexpected disconnection occured" or something.

The gpu driver does not crash, Windows event log shows nothing. I just did a Furmark benchmark, the GPU did not have a problem with power supply or heat there. While playing Path of Exile the heat is pretty stable 60-63°.

How to get rid of those blackscreens :<

€dit: I forgot to mention that I sometimes get graphical glitches in Ksaoms Dream and certain other zones. The floor turns into some ugly orange surface that looks like some failed Blender project.

I have no money else I wouldnt have bought AMD in first place x)

It's either the drivers being crap(you may need to roll back), i've also seen posts saying it due to an inadequate/faulty power supply.

And fyi, black screens are not just an AMD problem (it's not even one i've had and i've been using AMD for PoE throughout)

Yea its the drivers, they just crashed after a black screen right now.

i generally have it set to let the application decide, might not be the best though.

Run memtest, I have seen crashing gpu drivers on multiple machines with faulty/non-qvl main memory.

Oke I did a clean reinstall of the drivers and now PathofExile.exe keeps crashing. Haven't seen a blackscreen so far but the game crashes now like all 30 min ala "Pathofexile.exe stopped working". I tried with and without "enable Multithreading", it isnt the multithreading that crashes the game.

But I was lucky enough to win a beta key so lets see if beta fixes it.

playing the beta for like 12 hours, no blackscreen or game crash yet.

Looks like they fixed a lot of stuff.

The new fights are pretty intense for my potato GPU. I wish that middle class GPUs wouldnt be so expensive right now thanks to all those bitcoin miners -_-
