The Thing About The Flooded Depths
|
I really don't understand why there isn't and exit to Submerged Passage behind the grandaddy crab. Why make us backtrack this area when other similar style side areas such as the shipwreck where we get the Allflame and the Den where we go to kill the white beast have an exit to the main area after you go to the objective. Flooded depths is about the same length as those areas so why not make a little QoL change there?

Good point. It should fit smoother into gameplay.

That really would be a nice qol upgrade!

+1 I'm always baffled at why this zone doesn't, compared to say the Den or the Ship graveyard cave.
Hopefully GGG will add an exit in 3.0 ... "Metas rotate all the time, eventually the developers will buff melee"

I never really even thought about it to be honest. I just usually portal out and hit the portal back to the wp in the floor above. Not that I'm disagreeing with you, definitely think that this would be a great qol.
Combat is simple.
Keep your blood in. Take theirs out. |

I have thought this the first 100 times i think.
Pretty much every single time i am there i think.. wtf no exit why the hell are they adding exits other places but always leave this forgotten. Even an exit would fit well logically too in that winded cave system, there's just no reason. I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all. The time when video games were prioritizing consistency (and realism) is long gone it seems ....
sad This is so unnecessary :/. Having everything that gives "QoL" (lol) things to the players will make the games overall feels like "owh, this is a game so they made it so that players wouldn't bitch about this, right .... ". Take it as a "price" you pay for going there, one portal scroll for one skill point ... so expensive, so game breaking too. You are going to the flooded depth, logic would tell you that you are going deeper and deeper to kill that big crab. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" Chill man, it's a suggestion based on observation, not "bitching. If you notice, its posted in a Feedback and Suggestion sub-forum, where they want people to go and...wait for it...give feedback and suggestions. It's a cohesion factor. It just seems like since it is in the early set of levels it might have been overlooked when they did the exit portals in places such as the shipwreck and the den. " By this logic they should remove the exit in the shipwreck. " Going this route would then suggest the Den and the shipwreck should have their exits removed. “ I'm going to build my own Wraeclast with blackjack and hookers. Here's what you do:
Drop portal at the bridge. Tag waypoint at the ledge. Return to town and take your portal back. Find the depths, kill the crab, portal out. Return to the ledge via waypoint. If you lost the instance, go in the direction of the three rocks on the side of the waypoint. |
