Good vga for 4k POE gaming

Hi all,
i would like to play POE in 4K and therefore i have to buy a 4K monitor and a good vga. My vga candidate: - geforce gtx 1070 - geforce gtx 1080 - geforce gtx 1080ti So my question is, has anybody got an experience with theese cards in 4K? ps. sorry for my english,it's not my native. " Pssst: no one calls it "vga". ;-) Graphics card, video card, or just GPU in reference to the specific graphics processor. For 4k, I'd go for either a 1080 or 1080 Ti card. While the 1070 can run 4k, you might have to turn down some settings to have the framerate match the full refresh rate, especially for 120+Hz monitors. VGA is still used a lot in Germany, maybe he is German? :)
@ topic I play in WQHD and don´t see that much "+" over full HD in POE. 4k compared to WQHD will be very similar I think. While you can of course go for 4k, it is an investment that might not really pay of. Those cards will cost you 600+ and then you also need a better monitor. Are 1000+, really worth it, especially since 4k hardware will become cheaper at the end of the year. If you buy now, then you need to settle with a 60hz monitor for 350 and I honestly feel that a 144hz with WQHD makes much more sense in gaming, but don´t let this stop you, it´s your money :) The 1080 has 8 GB VRAM if I am not mistaken, so I would pick either this or the TI. " I'd pick that one. I have only 1440p experience, but it holds 144FPS most of the time. Lowest so far is 110FPS in act 5, which is always the worst zone for performance. |
