Best body armor for an evasion / acro /phase acro ranger

Im making a tornado shot raider, and i cant decide what armor to buy. Kaoms is out (need 6l), so that leaves:

lightning coil, hyrris ire, kintsugi, belly of the beast, queen of the forest, or the perfect form. Or anything else..

Please let me know what you think and why.

All of these have different advantages, there is no "best" here.

Hyrri's is not really used due to lack of life, Lightning Coil is very restricted in what it offers (defense against physical hits only). QotF is great for clear speed but requires running Grace aura to be really useful. The others are pretty generic all-purpose body armors.

Keep in mind that the 3.0 patch will make rare armors more appealing (higher possible life/evasion values.

3.0 (at least in the beta) also allows dodge chance to roll at evasion body armours. Which is awesome.

Another very much overlooked body armour for dodge/evasion is daresso's defiance. It gives dodge, life and endurance charges, which help against physical hits (a bit at least). Add in life leech and onslaught and it's easy to recover should you take a hit.

Hmm, truly? It seems a bit wasteful on exiles that already take the Acrobatics cluster, but I suppose free Arctic Armour and very large potential Evasion scaling is still quite good. Thx guys, but after searching ive come to settle on a cospri's.

Having a second curse (enfeeble) will provide 30% less damage, (plus less crit chance, crit dmg, and accuracy) which is better than perfect form, hyrris, kintsugi, or lightning coil. It probably even adds more ehp than having 90 life. Thanks for your input :)

This is true, Enfeeble grants huge survivability, especially for Evasion builds where you take already substantial critical Attack avoidance and you sink their Chance down to the depths of the ocean.

I just hope you watch out for a few tricky enemies: in 2.6, Totems and Curse Immune enemies still can't be cursed even with Cospri's Will. The most significant foes to worry about would probably be:

• Volcano Map boss
• Plateau Map boss
• Orchard Map boss
• Plaza Map boss? (If it is the same gal as in Orchard)
• Bameth Beyond boss

And of course if you aren't using Blasphemy to do the trick you will have to beware of curse reflect as with Atziri and Maelstrom of Chaos.

Of course many things are changing in 3.0 so we can't be fully sure this will always be the case. Assuming it's as simple as removing Curse Immune from the game, though, that still leaves Totems uncurseable, so Volcano/Plateau and any others that I'm not aware of would still trip you up a little.

Just keep in mind that bosses are resistant to curse effects, Guardians/Shaper even more so.

Kaom's is not bad either. :-)

And if you can't afford it then Belly of the beast.
