No traitor achievement

it says i have not hit help for alira and yet i have the quest to prove that i have. see screenshot.

i have since gone back to alira to try again twice, to no effect.

I'm not sure you understand the achievement.

You can only help a single bandit on each difficulty. The Traitor achievement is for picking a different bandit on each of the three difficulties. Your screenshot doesn't suggest that you've done this.

Having the quest means not having completed the quest, and thus not having earned the achievement. Until you kill both Oak and Kraityn, then share power with Alira, you haven't earned it.
