Option to turn off party members effects/summons
Hello Exiles,
Ever tried playing in a party and the entire screen fills up with sparks, lightning arrows, freeze pulse, zombies, fireballs, totems, skeletons, spectres, etc? I really hope GGG is working on letting us limit the effects and we can limit what we want to see. Also filtering of loot better so that the entire screen is not loots everywhere would be nice. 100% second this, my fps when I'm by myself is a constant 40-60, but the second I party with summoners it drops down to below 10, constantly, there needs to be some serious optimizations to the loot / chat / party systems to allow for lower end CPU users to still be able to play in parties without feeling the fps drops that make it unplayable.

Ice Shot fucks me over, farmed an hour to get 40% Exp, died twice to the Ice Shot mobs in the Docks just cause my laptop froze for 5 secs each time they used it. Funny how it takes ages to get exp then it takes a couple of seconds to take that away.

It's not so much an issue of the amount of spells, but the spell art.
Take a look at D2 spells. They are solid, unified, clear, smooth, easy on the eye. The problem with PoE spells is, that they consist out of a million sharp, crisp, shattered sparks and debree. Just compare D2 with PoE lightning and you see what I mean: ![]() ![]() (screenshots off the web, it didn't resize poe so inspect it in a new window, or slide the bottom bar) Can you see the crazy amount of sparks and junk flying around the PoE lightning, which itself is unnecessarily rich in detail (and personally, talking about lightning here specifically, I prefer realistic, overexposed white streams over neon blue threads. D2 wasn't confusing even with 6 ppl on screen spamming every possible spell, think about that. Imo the artists at GGG did a good job with all the spells, they might look different and cool, but as far as gameplay goes, they have no functionality. As everyone agrees upon; they are too confusing and unclear. I'd say it wouldn't hurt the GGG art designers to revisit D2 and take some notes. It simply works. Why try to fix it if it ain't broken?
