Purchased points through Steam not showing up

Good morning,


As indicated, I purchased points via Steam > Paypal last night and they have still not shown up.
I've e-mailed support of course, but I have a question..

As one of the incentives for me was the Mystery Box through Micro-transaction, I am considering refunding and simply re-buying the points through the website.
Is this something that is do-able, or can it cause problems and ill-advised?

How long will it normally take for an e-mail response?

I don't believe Steam offers refunds for "DLC" such as PoE point packs.

I bought some points through Steam on Friday and they arrived instantly, which is the experience I typically have. I didn't use Paypal, so it's possible that's where the delay is occurring. It might be worth double-checking that the payment wasn't blocked by Paypal.

I can't comment on the length of the e-mail queue as I don't have access to that information.

Firstly want to thank you for such a prompt reply and professionalism, so thank you for that. The quality of this community always amazes.

Secondly, I've just realized; total user error on my part.
Somehow when I purchased the funds, it was 1 cent short of what was required, so I've just gone ahead and added another 5$ and the coins showed up instantly after using my steam wallet.

I'm also new with steam, and didn't actually realize I had to add the funds and then proceed to use the funds from the wallet for the purchase..

I hope you will at least get a good chuckle out of this, cause I just face/palmed so damn hard haha.


FYI: Support just e-mailed me back basically within 1 hour. Insane. I must say, my experiences with the support team here have been nothing but stellar.

Glad to hear it worked!

I don't think you do need to add funds to your Steam Wallet then use the Steam Wallet; you should just be able to pay directly using a credit card or whatever if you prefer.
