Blade Flurry - How much does Attack Speed help?

I'm not sure why it doesn't seem to be showing on youtubes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpwqO50eNII), but when I'm using Blade Flurry there's this full 1 second recoil effect every time I stop channeling. So when I need to immediately react/dodge something, I cannot do it because my character just goes into this recoil animation which looks like he's using a warcry. Will stacking Attack Speed lessen this animation time? Because surely this is going to cause me lots of deaths later on if I keep losing control of my character for a second every time I stop channeling.

The 'recoil' is what happens when you release the key, which does damage proportional to how many stacks of blade flurry you had prior to the release. It's animation time is constant and cannot be changed. What attack speed changes though is the number of attacks/hits blade flurry can do per second.

Sounds like a desync issue. You shouldn't be losing control of your character for 1000 milliseconds after releasing the Blade Flurry button.

Attack speed provides all the ordinary benefits and then some. It has additional synergy with Blade Flurry because it allows you to reach max stages sooner, which means that you are more likely to benefit from the stage bonus for a given hit than without the attack speed bonus.

Thank you. For this skill, I felt it's hard to decide whether to stack as much % Attack Speed as possible or % Physical Damage because it only does 56.4% base attack damage. I was thinking % Physical damage is good because after 6 stacks we get 120% more Damage.

Blade Flurry Assassin Full Guide (Fairly cheap, clear everything) There should be plenty in the class forums too.

Sorry, I meant max block Gladiator Blade Flurry like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEq5Sq175Hk, sadly he never mentioned how much his sword costed to craft, and I'm looking more of a new player budget build around 30c (20c buying gears & 5-10c in after purchase sockets crafting). Would really love to read the guide's analysis on attack speed vs physical damage for this build as well.
