Your thoughts about Fall of Oriath?

GGG released something really big about incoming patches. All the players hyped and i believe every single Rpg player waiting for the Fall of Oriath like me at the moment. But; what is happening really? What is your dream/s about Fall of Oriath?

no clue what to think yet xd 1 difficulty is nice much more fun leveling alts i guess as for the new content no clue not much info given out yet xd

My thoughts: Ten fucking Acts!

Innocence turns into Sin during his endeavor to purge all sinners and Sin turns into Innocence when burned just for being. Or something like that. It's all mirrored.

The fall of Oriath in my head feels like this:


I come back home from work after a long day very tired, but super happy and excited. Because I had a call from my girlfriend earlier.... she told me she was waiting in our bed for some "intimate fun time".

So full of excitment I open the door of my house, get as fast as I can to our bedroom. And once I'm finally there. I see her waiting on my bed, with her two very hot friends, and she tells me, happy birthday......



That's pretty much how I felt about Fall of Oriath announcement.

New engaging boss fights.

Reducing the prevalence and lethality of Chaos damage in end game content.

A buff to non ES defense types so I can use some of the awesome build enabling uniques I can't justify using on an ES build.

Continued SSF support in the form of threshold jewels as quest rewards or an easily farmable divination card.

New maps.

Cool new build enabling uniques. Preferably something involving freezing everything.

I'm still not convinced that they'll pull it off. Remember when act III came out and it was only half done? Kind of what I expect from FoO. Half done. Filled in later... perhaps.

I'm interested to see what they'll do with all the character building systems but for the most part I'll just experience it organically as I play through it for the first time.

I'm thinking Shrapnel Shot totems just because.

FoO could be cool.

Could equally be a flop too.

Will have to wait and see.

As far as my dreams go for it?

More SSF support, in terms of Threshold Jewels and build defining uniques (I.e. Making The Sun not a bitch to farm)

Smoother power curve throughout the acts, unlike the current system where things kind of spike up in Act 3/4 and are otherwise pretty droll in all 3 difficulties. A more linear difficulty increase throughout the acts would be nice.

Cool new uniques and more Fated variants of existing cool uniques that aren't relevant. Since uniques are like 1000x cooler than boring old Rares you've crafted to be BiS. So more things to build around would be great.

New Master(s). We have 8 masters, which currently are spread 2 per act. 10 acts means we could get 2 more and have 1 per act. New masters, with hopefully fun missions (Please go die in a fire Haku... I can't take your boring missions anymore...) and new crafting table for cool things would be ace (Like, perhaps something for making Jewels and Leaguestones?)

For me, behind the religious stuff and about them directly at the same time; i can feel better if we will be able to control or fight with "thing" in this game after all this time beyond the good and bad. The "thing" is above the God concept and all other creations in this reality. The "thing" is even beyond the void's itself.
