Greetings.
I have a problem with a PC crash during i'm playin POE. Screen covers in artifacts and freeze or just reboot after a 10 seconds. Ingame directx setting auto (Directx 9Ex), when i'm trying dx11 beta game frequently crashes. Windows log:

I lower game graphic settings. I run different tests to check my video card, test it in 3dmark with different tests during an hour. Also test it with furmark.  Machine didnt crash when i'm playing other games, this issue happens only with POE. I'm tired of solving tech issues alone, so maybe you can help me. This is also my first forum post. I am just a regular User myself but I would like to check something before I might run out of ideas. If I get it right you get a BlueScreen-Error with the the message "Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power". Do you use a Firewire-Plug on your PC (if it has one)? Download the program "WhoCrashed" and run it, then post it's logfile here Here is a link but you are free to search for it yourself if you don't trust me :) http://www.resplendence.com/download/whocrashedSetup.exe The program should give a way better view than the Windows Log. |

" Thanks for help! Much appreciate. I'm not getting BSoD, but i think it should be, instead screen just froze covered in graphic artifacts. Also i'm not using firewire. Program "WhoCrashed" helps a bit, but i knew before that problem in videocard or videodriver. Here is whocrashed log:

I would say I do the same it's just called a bit different in Germany, I am doing an apprenticeship as 'Administrator'/ network specialist/ IT specialist (system integration) however you call it in english^^ So I guess I don't have to tell you to absolutely clean uninstall drivers, restarting the PC and then installing new drivers?^^ It indeed looks like your driver is failing at some point. But I don't think it is the video-card itself because you said other games are running just fine. Do you have Onboard-graphic within your Mainboard? Sometimes Windows-Updates try to install the driver they found for you themselves, make sure this is not the case. Let's hope the latest driver is working, I wish you all luck! |

I guess i'm finally solved this problem.
Maybe my solution can help for someone else. My windows updater was fully turned off, because i'm already experienced problem when windows reinstalling drivers. I'm load my system in a safe mode, fully clean uninstall current video driver. Install last version of nvidia driver, installing only video driver and physx driver. I didnt install nvidia audio and 3d drivers. Second day after reinstalling driver and my game working stable. |
