[2.6] Maximum Practical Dps Aurabot for Softcore
Welcome to the build guide for the maximum DPS Aurabot you can achieve that is still practical to map with!
WARNING: This build is NOT CHEAP to start with, and is extremely expensive to optimize (upwards of 30+Ex depending on availability of rare items) This build uses a Victario's Influence Lacquered Garb to buff up our auras. The 30% reduced Mana reservation of socketed gems grants me the ability to run every single aura in the game (14), gives them level 30 generosity's aura affect, and on top of all that gives +15% increased aura effectiveness! The downside of using this over a shavs is obviously the fact that chaos damage can bypass your Energy Shield, and that you miss out on approximately 350 flat ES (almost exactly 1k ES with current level and tree). The chaos damage bypassing is solved by using the Coruscating Elixir flask. This build is not recommended for HC, as a missed Coruscating Elixir could easily mean death. I was inspired by the buff to Victario's Influence to create a build that grants the maximum amount of DPS possible. It currently has all the aura effect nodes on the tree, with 14 auras and 3 vaal auras. Level 4 empower in a +1 corrupted chestpiece gives me level 27 Anger, Wrath, and level 26 Haste (not 21/20 yet working on getting one) Why play this build over an aurabot that uses shavs?

This build gives about 1.5 times more dps than a regular fairly maxed out 12 aura shavs aurabot, which is kinda overkill for basically all content in the game. But after spending 20 ex on gems with 20 quality that give 1 step's worth of radius, I am pretty entitled to say that its not about the power but about the prestige :D The order of the dps multiplier goes approximately as following from least to greatest (note these are fairly maxed out builds, you can multiply the dps of a level 60 character thousand fold, but that's not the point. Also these are just the pure tooltips, and not taking into account double dipping from the % increased you give) Righteous Fire (0.5-1x more dps) << Spell Casters (2-4x more dps) << HOWA builds (3.5-7x more dps) << Elemental based attack builds (5-10x more dps) << Physical based attack builds with conversion scaling (6-11+x more dps) Heres my friend on his 98 pathfinder in hideout dps with almost mirror tiered gear (note the worse the gear the more their tooltip is multiplied due to the flat damage from Anger and Wrath) with no flasks ![]() ![]() Required Gear

One part of my goal with this character was to be survivable all the way up, no matter the mods of a map. That was why I grabbed Iron Reflexes and Zealot's Oath on the tree. With these two things, I get a slight ES regeneration to counteract poison and ignite, as well as 28k armor (up to 44k with stibnite). This pared with a basalt and the Essence of Horror belt gives me more than 90% estimated phys dmg reduction mobs, as well as blind from the stibnite. That and good dodging against bosses and good use of the Elixirs make this build almost unkillable against physical damage. When against elemental damage, level 21 auras in the helmet gives +9% maximum resistances, which means that you can tank volatiles and elemental damage with relative ease. (Especially fire damage, since you have Elixir up 100% of the time, giving you 90% fire res) To the people that say I can get more dps out of this build if I used more auras in the Victario's, you are technically correct. However, it would seriously cripple the defensive capabilities of this build as described above. I'm sure a +1 6l with Skyforths and 5 level 27 auras with the 30 generosity supporting would grant slightly more dps (maybe 5% more?), but the loss in survivability of the build would be greatly hindered. This build tries to give as much dps as possible whist still being able to keep up to people you are mapping with, and not die to random things every 5 maps. (not having haste on yourself is bad enough) The Elreon ring and reduced mana gem is so that I can cast my movement abilities for free. Ideally I would be using whirling blades, but it costs slightly more than charge, and so would have to use 2 Elreon rings, which would not be worth it because of the loss in ES (unless you have mirror tiered Elreon rings that is) Chaos resistance is pretty easy to get for this build as well, I am able to cap my chaos res because of the Presence of Chayula giving so much. I tried fighting Phoenix with Blood of Corruption Amulet, but I found that it really was not worth it. You lose around 1.5k energy shield, as well as stun immunity. If your carry does not kill him fast enough, you could get chain stunned by the birds and die. If you keep on dying from chaos damage because of your flasks, don't give up! I constantly died initially when I played as well, but I have gotten much better and have died to chaos damage only once in the past two levels. 9k es at level 94 fuck arcane vision Rate my mtx setup xD Yes, theres a bunch of different aura setups and variations on this one, do what you like, I just found this one to be the most efficient. (could put PoE in chest w/ VHaste, Haste in shield etc...) My Gear (almost maxed)

I'm actually playing an Aurabot this league and before going for Shavs which is the recommended item i tried victario's. As it is the armour gives a lot of great things compared to Shavs however the 1 and big problem is the Chaos damage which i solved with Coruscating Elixir.
While just to be sure and save i even used 2 Coruscating Elixirs 20% and increase flask duration nodes which brought me to 9-10 seconds of the elixir, which is quite a lot on one hand, yet low on the other. If you forget and/or leave even 0.1 sec between clicking it in usual mapping you have a high priority of dying, hence it is very tedious to watch for the buff to be ALLWAYS on, clicking it around the 8-9 sec mark (to use the charges as best as possible) etc... i'm not saying it cant be done, i done it myself, but after trying it for few days i have to say with Shavs it is much much easier and almost impossible to die. Hi,
I'm thinking of trying a build resembling this one. Instead of the flasks - which are indeed risky to use - what do you think of using Esh's visage, which prevents chaos damage from bypassing the energy shield while not on low life and not low mana ? The threshold is said to be pretty low, so as long as you don't spam you few spells you actually cast, I think it could work... But I'm too new to the game to be sure, and too poor to actually try it out :o) Cheers, and thanks for the guide! Edit: I just realized that I was mistaken about how Esh's visage works; I thought that no matter the amount of life reserved, as long as you have all the life you can possibly have, you're considered full life, but you're not. In other words, I thought that the percentage of life used to decide whether you're low life of not if based on max hp, not (max hp) - (hp reserved). However, Victario's influence still allows for a heavily reduced mana reservation and pretty buff auras with level 30 generosity. So here's what I thought: let's not reserve only about 60% of life, leaving you with 40% or so (the aim being to be above 35% with just the right margin for spells you cast) and have huge auras for allies, like hatred/anger/wrath/some others, and other defensive or utility auras for others and yourself (haste/discipline/grace), while always keeping vitality in order to stay above 35% why cating spells. It would grant less auras than other aurabot builds, but you'd still grant huge dps bonuses to allies. It would require to abandon some auras, but for instance, if you have purity of elements supported by lvl 30 generosity, maybe you don't really need the other three purities (rings and such will need to grant resistances then of course, it's just a project). tl;dr: less auras than a classic aurabot build with Shav's, but they are much more powerful, grant a lot more dps, and you also have some free gem slots to make this a hybrid build, like an auramancer for instance, without sacrificing anything. Once again, I'm still kinda new to the game, so 1) I might be talking crazy right now and I don't even know it, and 2) I'm too poor to afford to actually buy everything needed to try this in game, so don't take this too seriously, I just decided to ramble here instead of alone in front of my computer :o) Last edited by Vatinas#5801 on May 22, 2017, 1:25:57 PM
