[SURVEY] How much money have you spent on Path of Exile? (2017 Edition)

Yesterday I asked this question to reddit's /r/leagueoflegends community, and I got a ton of responses! I’m still chewing through that data, but it made me curious: How does the average League player compare to the average Dota or PoE player in terms of spending?

Survey: How much money have you spent on Path of Exile?

I also posted this survey on reddit (/r/pathofexile), so if you saw it there this is the same survey. (And also thanks for taking it!)

I worked hard to make the survey as fast to take as possible while still asking interesting questions. You can look at the summary of results now, but in a few days or a week I’ll post a more detailed look at the numbers. I did one for /r/smashbros once upon a time, you can get a sneak peak of how that turned out there.

I've given about $300 over the 4-5 years I've played. Call is "spent" if you want. I toss them $20 when I feel like it... less often now than early. I'll likely toss them another $20 when 3.0 comes out.

To many questions in survey, so I'll answer here - let's say I am sure I'll get beta access if it is set around 500$ mark.

Yeah, I get what you mean. When I first made the survey I made it for League and Dota, where you really feel like you're "spending" your money. The devs of those games can be cool, but by and large it feels like a corporate interaction whenever money is involved because they're so massive. With PoE and other, smaller games I feel like putting money into it is more like helping the developers.

Spent is correct. You gave money in exchange for a product (mtx/coins/physical goods depending on the supporter pack).

It wasn't a donation.

$740 in supporter packs. I made several point purchases before they incorporated the upgrading option so maybe $800-$900 altogether.
