Rise of the Phoenix, The Sun, and some RF questions...

Building a Righteous Fire character for the first time, and so far it is pretty damn fun. I have yet to get the Rise of the Phoenix shield, so my max Fire Resist is currently only 80. Despite that, I am cruising along pretty comfortably in maps up to Tier 8, and my character just hit level 80.

I found a Div Card, 'The Sun'. Collecting a set of seven of these things awards the Phoenix shield. Would it be worthwhile to farm Solaris 1/2 to complete the set? Have any of you done such a thing before?

I have also been using Chance Orbs on any normal quality Mosaic Kites and Vaal Sceptres I find. Can Phoenix and/or the Uni Scepter actually be chanced?

(I am playing SSF, so trading for the shield is not an option)

Also, about the RF skill itself.

It is my understanding that the RF skill damage is increased by %inc elemental damage and %inc fire damage, but not %inc spell damage. Is that correct?

I'm wondering, because in the absence of the preferred scepter for the build, would the next best alternative be a rare with Implicit %ele damage, and rolls with %fire damage and +2 fire gems(for my purity of fire)?

I believe those cards drop fairly frequently, I would recommend farming for it. Also RF does not benefit from spell damage.

You're right, spell damage does not scale RF. Elemental damage, fire damage and increased burning damage scales RF.

Phoenix can be chanced. What do you mean by "the Uni Scepter?" Doryani's Catalyst? That can't be chanced, you have to kill Atziri for a chance at it.

Yes! That and Doon Cuebiyari. I see now on the wiki page that Doryanis can not be chanced, but Doons page says nothing of the sort.

An other option is to use the Leo Mastercraft for less Damage over Time taken. But i dont know how difficult it is to lvl Leo in SSF (i think u need him at lvl 3). If you have a Friend who play SSF too it will be easy.

Farming the card in Solaris temple is "not viable". Unless they changed it so that it drops more often now.

UPDATE: Cadiro to the rescue! Just bought the Phoenix for about 2400 coins!
